A town that was built all at once, around a shift schedule. We think that makes it our sort of place.
About Kingsford Heights
Kingsford Heights did not grow the slow way. It was laid out in the 1940s to house workers at the Kingsbury Ordnance Plant — built quickly and deliberately, with curving streets that still read as a plan rather than an accident.
The plant is long gone and the town stayed, which is the interesting part. It is a small, self-contained community out on the county roads southeast of La Porte, quiet now, and still shaped by the people who came here to work.
Why Grandma's

How It Works
Grandma's delivers within a 10-mile radius of our kitchen at 502 State Street in La Porte, and there is only one kitchen — everything we deliver is cooked in it. Whether your address falls inside that range is confirmed at checkout on the online menu; if it does not, carryout and dine-in are always open.
